Mayfair Library Wedding • Connaught Hotel • Goode Flowers • A London Covid Wedding • Haruna and Eoghan

During the height of covid, I had many couples still get married. And let me tell you, we still had so much fun! Bonuses included a near empty Mayfair which meant we could use all the backdrops of shops and businesses that would normally be bustling with customers, we could also have a run in the middle of the road! Something I absolutely love doing if the couple are up for it!

The only thing with Covid weddings is that they are short, so I was with these guys for a couple of hours only, but again, thinking positively, it meant that we could spend a lot more time on their couple photos which is a luxury. These guys were amazing - they were up for everything! I LOVED how Haruna picked up her bouquet from the shop directly before the ceremony, and you can never go wrong with Goode flowers - these guys are absolute legends when it comes to florals, plus they always have a fabulous display outside which provides an amazing backdrop for pictures.

Video calling came into play during the ceremony, and that was part of the day so I embraced grabbing a few images of their families on their phones - theses kind of images will be iconic when looked back on in decades time.

During the couple photos it started chucking it down with rain, as only a December in London can! But a doorman from a near shop quickly ran out a gave them an umbrella which was the most heart-warming thing ever. These troopers carried on in the rain - please can more people be like this!

Finishing back in the Connaught hotel, where we started for getting ready, we used their Chirstmas lights to grab a few more shots, and then I left them to celebrate on their own. A covid wedding but I left absolutely buzzing!
