The Manor House Hotel Castle Combe Wedding • Castle Combe Wedding Photographer • Bea and Henry

When Bea and Henry told me about their venue I was beyond excited! Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, The Manor House hotel in the stunning Castle Combe provided a true fairytale background. Bea and Henry's outside ceremony went ahead in front of this stunning venue, making their special day truly magical.

The picturesque village of Castle Combe provided the dreamiest backdrop for Bea and Henry's wedding. This timeless location, with its charming stone cottages and enchanting surroundings, set the stage for a wedding that exuded romance, making it the ideal canvas for some stunning photos. Everywhere you looked was breathtaking, I was spoilt for choice with backdrops and also spoilt with the exceptional weather that day, which proved the most perfect golden hour over the raised gardens,

The decision to have an outdoor wedding proved to be a stroke of genius as Bea and Henry exchanged vows in the midst of The Manor House’s natural beauty. The ceremony, held on the lawn in front of the hotel had the soundscape of running water and gorgeous stringed instruments as she walked down the aisle. And one of their good friends serenaded them as they signed the official paperwork. It was a dream!

Reception drinks and fun “formal” photos were in full flow as the sun stretched its rays. I always love capturing the guests naturally smiling and laughing at this time, the best photos are always the natural ones.

Speeches were very heartfelt and even included a beautiful little sing from Henry’s daughter in French! I felt the love in the room from everyone, its always a moment that you learn more about people, and I learnt how truly remarkable Bea and Henry were.

One of the highlights of The Manor House hotel in Castle Combe is its raised gardens, providing an ideal vantage point for capturing stunning golden hour photos. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we took full advantage of this magical hour. I always keep an eye on the light and when I say let’s go, my couples know that that means - right now! The golden hour happened after speeches so slotted in perfectly, and Bea and Henry were fantastic sports climbing the steps again to get up into the stunning warm glow that I think is the best golden hour I’ve experienced!

What truly made Bea and Henry's wedding special was the couple's ability to immerse themselves fully in the joy of the day. From candid moments of laughter to stolen moments with just the two of them, their genuine happiness radiated throughout the celebration.

The Manor House hotel in Castle Combe, with its timeless charm, played the perfect supporting role in a love story that will be remembered for generations to come. A huge congratulations to Bea and Henry - what an unforgettable day.
