Eton College Chapel Wedding Photography• Agars barn • Documentary Wedding Photography • Rebecca and Edward

Rebecca and Edward were such a dream couple. I knew they were pure quality when we popped open some prosecco during our pre wedding consultation a month before their wedding! Both being very creative souls they loved the storytelling aspect of documentary photography, and I absolutely loved capturing their story.

The day was hit and miss weather wise, but nothing dampened the mood. I was able to go back and forth between Rebecca at her home and Edward at a local pub. I love being able to capture both mornings, it adds a great dynamic into the final images. Everything was very handy being in walking/stumbling distance, and these two troopers incorporated walking between venues into their itinerary for the day! Walking to the church with her dad, Rebecca and Edward vowed and kissed before leading their guests around Eton; through cricket fields where Edward used to play, past their first flat together and around where they teach now. I LOVE when wedding parties walk to the venue, everyone is full of life, and natural, candid images are a dream to get!!!

For the last part of the journey bride and groom jumped on a little golf cart to arrive in style to their open tent marquee, with games, cricket scoring box bar, cheese and most importantly port! Whilst their guests were getting merry, we went for a little walk around the grounds to get some couple photos before heading back for speeches, just as the rain came down! But what superstars! Fully embracing the rain, the umbrellas popped up and smiles got wider, it is good luck for it to rain on your wedding day after all!

Speeches were real tear jerkers, especially Rebecca’s beautiful speech, one that will stay with me for a while. The tears then turned to smiles and extremely funky dance moves as the band kicked into full swing – I love when the guests throw themselves into the dancing, and it’s true for these guys that absolutely no f**ks were given as some serious shapes were thrown! What a dream day, what a dream couple!!!

If you’re planning to bust some serious shapes on your day, get in contact!
