The Riverside Marquee Wedding • Bray Wedding • Documentary Wedding Photography • Daniel and Mia

I knew that Mia and Daniel’s wedding was going to be fabulous from when I first met them, there was a keen eye for detail and such love that went into the planning I couldn’t wait to capture their day.

Celebrating in the small, beautiful village of Bray, every part of the day was within 5 minutes of each other. Getting to Daniel first, I grabbed some detail shots whilst some serious ironing went on - how many groomsmen does it take to iron a shirt?!?

Mia was getting ready a minutes walk away from the church in the cutely named Christmas Cottage with bright red door, it was so quirky, and had a cottage feel with a glass extension at the back which was fabulous for natural light, which is just perfect and also means the makeup is done according to daylight which is a must.

As Mia opened Daniel’s gifts, the emotion was clear to see, and the eagerness to meet him at the bottom of the aisle was bubbling!

The music played, the page boys and bridesmaids entered and then, there they were, together, you could see how much they loved each other, it’s always such a pleasure to witness the little looks and smiles, the unsaid emotion between the two of them that no one else can see.

After the nerves had dissolved away and they were officially Husband and Wife, the celebrating could start, it’s always such fun to start the party feel off with a confetti line, such a good way to get everyone smiling and laughing! This merriment continued throughout the day as we got to The Riverside Marquee, which is gorgeous and set backing onto the river. Group shots led into the couple shots and the sun was very kind to us, as it was later in the day it was a warm softer light which looked stunning on Daniel and Mia.

Speeches brought the house down as well as bringing a few tears down cheeks, and the first dance followed by a father-daughter/mother-son dance was equally as tear jerking. It was so clear to see how much Daniel and Mia loved each other and how much they were both loved, it was an absolute pleasure to capture and an honour to know such a lovely couple.
